Art Nibbles is an authored editorial publication exploring the presence of food in art as material, symbol, and provocation.

Spanning 193 pages, the book is structured through thematic chapters - flesh and body fluids, cannibalism, plants, sugar, supper, and drinks - examining how food operates within artworks as a site of care, violence, pleasure, morality, and control.

The project brings together curated artworks alongside selected essays and texts, developed through weeks of close reading and research across museum archives and publications. The book is built through associations and connections formed between works and writings, positioning curation itself as a form of authorship.

All artworks are reproduced in black and white, with the intention of shifting focus away from visual consumption and encouraging readers to seek out the artists independently. Each chapter is defined by its own colour system, combined with black, creating a restrained but unstable visual rhythm.

The design follows a baseline grid as its only strict system: beyond this, pages deliberately resist uniformity. Every spread is different, with chapter openers as the sole exception - introducing a controlled structure within an otherwise anarchic layout.

I was responsible for the full scope of the project: research, curation, categorisation, editorial structure, and design.
